How a Hispania project runs

Most construction problems don't start during construction. They start before it, when the scope was never written down and the number was a guess.

1. Consultation. We visit, look at what you have, and find out whether the project, the budget and the timeline fit together. Sometimes they don't, and it's cheaper to know that on day one.

2. Scope and estimate. We write down exactly what's included and what isn't, then price it. We can explain every number, because we also build and renovate property with our own money.

3. Written agreement. Nothing starts until scope, price, payment schedule and timeline are signed. Payments follow the work. We don't take money before there's a signed scope.

4. Construction. One team, start to finish. You know who's in charge and what's happening this week.

5. Changes. Allowances and hidden conditions are identified before work starts. Every change is priced and approved in writing before it's built.

6. Final walkthrough. We build the punch list together. Everything on it gets finished before we call the job done.

Anyone can give you a low number. It only means something if it came from a written scope, and if the person who gave it to you is the same person who has to build it.
